What is the Open Enrollment Period?
Each year drug plans and medical health plans make changes to their pricing and providers. Open Enrollment is the time for Medicare participants to review their existing plan for proposed changes and consider if continuing in that plan is best or if a different plan would be more suitable to their needs.
Where will you find the information you need?
Start by reviewing your current plan (“Evidence of Coverage”) and any “Annual Notice of Change” your plan may have sent. Then you might look at Medicare.gov or call 1-800-MEDICARE to learn more about the plans and compare what is available.
